Each portrait takes at least 10 – 12 weeks to complete, it isn’t a quick process as each drawing takes many hours of detailed work. Portraits are completed on a first come first served basis, therefore if you would like the portrait as a gift for someone on a specific date, please order well in advance or alternatively purchase a GIFT VOUCHER.

STEP 1 – THE PHOTOGRAPH

I will need a good clear close-up photograph of your pet. The quality of the photograph is very important - the better the photograph the more accurate the drawing. I need to see your pets eyes clearly with no red eye. Please visit PHOTOGRAPHY TIPS for advice on how to take the perfect photograph.

Please note; professional photographs must be accompanied by a copyright release from the photographer or studio.

STEP 2 - CHOOSE THE SIZE

Each portrait is a single detailed head study in pencil and graphite; I do not include backgrounds as I want your pet to be “centre stage”. The portrait would be delivered/shipped to you unframed, this allows you to choose a frame of your choice. The prices below are in Dirhams and do not include shipping costs. Please see the currency converter at the foot of the page to change to your currency.

SIZE 1 – FACE STUDY (A4)

On receipt of your photographs I will  email you a mock composition for your approval. When emailing more than one photograph, please tell me which is your favourite. It is always nice to work from a selection, however the end portrait will be based on only one.

STEP 6 – FINISHED PORTRAIT

On completion I will email you a  Jpeg of your portrait, alternatively you can view the final stage online. If you are completely satisfied, the remaining amount can be paid and the portrait will then be posted/delivered. It will then only be a short time before you can view the ‘real’ thing.
